Photos of Places and Things

Around 2015, I started getting into photography.
In part, this was a way to combine my long-time interest in art
with the neighborhood engagement and ethnography I was doing
in New Orleans and elsewhere.
It was also a good way for me to talk shop with my daughter,
who is a professional photographer! I'm having a great time with it.

On this page is a portfolio of photos of places and things.
There are pictures from New Orleans neighborhoods,
as well as photos from other places.
The most recent are at the top.

The color photos are digital.
The black & white photos are medium-format film photos.
